Cacheing plugin recommendations

    Hi Guys

I have quickcache installed and the load time for our homepage is still 6 or 7 seconds.

Which Cacheing programs are you guys using and any recommendations to increase the first page load speed?

    Thanks

    None,

I never use Cache plugins for Forums or Community driven websites. The content on those kinda websites changes so frequently that it’s very difficult to Cache.

Just optimize your website , minify your JS and CSS files and try to make less browser requests.

WP super Cache but do not cache any page that updates via ajax.

Would you mind copy/paste what you’re excluding in the WPSuperCache plugin?

Slow page loads could be caused by many things. I’d start by asking your web host for initial support, and if they have any observations on what exactly is slow.
