Can I display different tabs for different groups within the same BP installation?

Hi BP Community.

Is it possible to display different tabs (Forums, Documents, Members, etc.) for one group within a single BuddyPress installation than the rest of the groups are displaying?

Or must all groups within a single BP installation display the same tabs?

Ideally, I’d like to set up a bunch of different tabs and let the admins for individual groups pick and choose which ones are included within their particular group.

I see that one of the CUNY Academic Commons groups has a tab that another group does not:

http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/groups/games-teaching-and-learning/ – has a “Visit Blog” tab

http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/groups/gc-comp-rhet-area-group/ – does not have a “Visit Blog” tab

This makes is seem as if it is possible to show different tabs to different groups within a single BuddyPress installation, but I want to confirm whether this can be applied to all different types of tabs or if it is functionality that is specific to the blog that can be tied to a specific BP group.

You’d have to adapt group codes to do that, much like this plugin did https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-group-reviews/

I’d also like to know how to do this! It seems possible. If I go under Admin in the group bar, click on Group settings, there’s a check box with the words “Enable Group Forum.” Would be nice to be able to do that with other group plug-ins as well, so each group can enable/disable those features they need or don’t need. Thanks all.
