Can I downgrade to earlier version

    My site looks awful and doesn’t work anymore after upgrading to the new version. I realize you guys are all volunteers but I’ve put my trust into your programming and you’ve wasted my time and made me look bad.

    Is there any way to downgrade to the previous version of Buddy Press or should I look for a more reliable program?

    I’m sorry you feel that way. Let’s see if we can resolve the issue. Of course you’re free to look elsewhere but hopefully things can be fixed here, and quickly.

    First off, can you provide some more details on the problems you’re now seeing since upgrading to 2.2? Also, can you provide a list of plugins you’re using, and also info on your active theme.

    To answer your question on downgrading, if done properly from backups then there shouldn’t be any problems. However, just deleting them plugin and replacing it with version 2.1 isn’t advisable as things can go wrong when you take that approach.
