Can no longer embed jscript in Groups ‘News’ box

    Hello,

    A couple of weeks ago I embedded and could display an RSS feed in the Groups ‘News’ field using feed2js. Today I’ve noticed that it no longer displays the feed. It just displays ‘View RSS feed’ which links to a dead link.

    Being able to embed an RSS feed is a really nice feature in the Groups News field and I was happy enough being able to do it for the time-being using feed2js. Have changes been made recently which might have broken it, intentionally or unintentionally? I’ve looked through Trac but it’s not clear to me, I’m afraid. I’m running the latest version from SVN trunk.

    Sorry josswinn, no idea what could be the problem. I don’t think bp has changed any js recently that would affect that thing. Perhaps the plugin author’s site would be of more help?

    This was intentional – JS in those fields is a security risk.

    Perhaps you can use Nicola’s groups extra fields plugin?

    You could use my plugin as andy said and add/remove filters you want

    Asap i’ll add a prebuilt fields to load videos/ images or js code
