Cannot invite members to group

    Hi

    I’m using WP 4.1.1, BuddyPress 2.2.1 and bbPress 2.5.4. My problem is, that I can’t invite users to a group with the frontend, although I can add members with the backend.

    If I try to invite members with the frontend, it shows me the members as invited (the checkbox is checked and the avatar of the member is showing), but the member in question does not get any invitation.

    The server is running with nginx and everything is working fine, except for this particular problem.

    There are no JS-errors and no errors in the network-log of Chrome/Firefox. If I tick the checkbox to invite a member to a group, the browser sends two POST-requests to admin-ajax.php (/wp-admin) and they are both working (status 200).

    @bigswp,

    if you have the same config today as @enaijo 5 months ago, update first.
    Actually: WordPress 4.2.3 BuddyPress 2.3.2.1 and bbPress 2.5.8-5815

    If the issue is still in, ensure that you have some friendship, as you can only invite friends to join a group.

    If all this is ok, you can open a ticket.
    Give details about your config and any hint about how to reproduce your issue and mention this topic.
