Cannot login to WP/BP after change password with Memcached running

Hi,

I am using WP 3.0.1 and BP 1.2.6, everything goes fine during the setup and install process. But after I create an account and assign to one user, after he trys to change his password from My profile->Setting->General, he never gets login again.

I tried with its account, it seems a correct password, but just not login. You know, if try with wrong password, login page will show incorrect password information.

I also try to generate new account and change password from WP admin page, the same problem happens. I checked error_log, didn’t find any information, I also tried to disable some plugins I enabled, still cannot determinate the problem

Could anyone help on this? Thanks a lot!

I figured out the reasons now, it is because the backend running Memcached process. It seems the old username/password is cached in memory, so after changing the password and try to login immediately, it failed to login. If I kill the memcached process and get it restarted, the use successfully login.

Now the problem is how to fix it, I’ve to keep memached running for a better performance, but it surly will be a problem for new changed password accounts. Is there someone else having this problem?
