i am having the same issue!!! textarea is not working on whats new. same integration.
but i never installed buddystream
@mulkins2013 yeah this is my first time use buddystream
works in firefox but not chrome…any suggestions ?

now my buddystream has been deleted but it’s still eror in comment.
@lannagung not sure what’s going on but I’ve seen some problems reported with the BuddyStream plugin unfortunately. I would backup database first, go into wp_options table, go into active_plugins and check that BuddyStream is no longer listed there and delete it if still there.
@mulkins2013 change to Twenty Twelve theme and check if post status update works. If not, please start a new topic of your own. In that new topic, provide information about your installation.
Found the problem in my themename/css/preview.css
Line 1: webkit-user-select: none; was causing the problem. If I delete this, the textarea will now allow a cursor and it works.

I am using wordpress version 3.5.1 and BP 1.7.1
and use the latest buddystream version.
i want to comment in status new, but i cant. how to fix it ?
