BuddyPress.org

I’m logged in as a ‘subscriber’ user and I go to ‘Friends’ and the ‘Requests’ and I don’t see any way to create a friendship request – shouldn’t there be a ‘add friend’ or something similar to request a friendship or do I have to go about it a different way? Basically, what is the process to request a friendship? I must be missing something very obvious here.
