Usually “can’t open file” means that some tables in database have become corrupted. One solution is to repair tables. Login to phpMyAdmin. Click on your database for this installation. Backup database (for just-in-case). Click on button for tables with “overhead” column > 0. Then click on dropdown below tables to “Repair Tables” and click on Go. After this, logout of phpMyAdmin, clear browser cache. And check site.
If above doesn’t work, you need to give more info like what WP/BP versions you are using? Is this new install? Was BP running well before this happened? etc.
Thanks a lot. Not sure exactly how I fixed it, but did a combination of redoing permissions / ownership and deactivating a bunch of plugins – not sure exactly which plugin it was yet., but thanks for the tips.
