This is a fresh install of WordPress and BuddyPress using the latest of each.

Every time I try to post topics in one of the groups I’ve created, they fail to appear.

When I submit a new topic, I get this instead: “This group does not have a forum setup yet.”

But, from what I can tell, I did set up the group forums. It says under BuddyPress > Forums that I can only uninstall ‘Forums for Groups’, which would indicate that it’s installed.

To recap, I type in the title for the new topic, the content, select the group, and hit submit, and nothing happens.

I’m not a novice in WP (I’ve been creating with WP since 2006), but I am with BP, and so far my experience has been anything but smooth, unfortunately. Admittedly, it may be error on my part.

Any thoughts?

P.S. If I use the default theme it still doesn’t post a topic, but I get a slightly different warning, which says:

“Please pick the group forum where you would like to post this topic.”
