Cant See Edit Links For Blog Post In Front End After Installing Buddy Press ?

Hi,

As the title suggests i Cant See Edit Links For Blog Post In Front End After Installing Buddy Press .
I am using WordPress 3.0.1, Buddy Press 1.2.5.2 , with default theme.

Every thing works fine in buddypress, but just cant see edit links on blog posts, I tried to look into the buddy press default theme files i could not locate any code that will put edit links on the blogposts, some thing like “edit_post_link( __( ‘Edit’, ‘twentyten’ ), ‘‘, ‘‘ );” which is present in default twentyten theme.

anyone can help me on this , i need to have the edit links on blog posts.

so what happens if you copy the relevent snippet of code from 2010 to BP?

This revised section from BP single.php:

<?php edit_post_link( __( 'Edit', 'buddypress' ), '‘, ‘‘ ); ?>

N.B. that the comment meta by default has the edit link, but that is part of the comments_template
