cbox theme & cbox approach (opinions wanted)

Hey Guys,
Im looking for everyones opinion on the CBOX theme deployed with Cbox… I like it so far.. but it “feels slow”. I have this (perhaps unnecessary) fear of being locked in to this theme especially that its soo “involved”
1) Do you guys have experience with this cbox theme? Do you guys feel its slow?
2) Is there a risk of being on this cbox theme (framework)
3) Is anyone experiencing plugin conflicts?
4) Im trying my best to have everything I install using WP/BP best practices and compliant? Is cbox fairly compliant?Any opinions highly appreciated
