Change button colours (activity stream)

Hello,
First of I’m no pro when it comes to coding. I’ve installed the latest buddypress version and I’m really satisfied with everything. There is just one problem:
The background of the buttons (in the activity stream) changes automatically when I change the theme settings (Jarida theme). I mean it wouldn’t really bother me, but I can’t read the text on the buttons.
My question now is, how can I change the background color of the buttons in the activity stream (like comment, favourite etc button).
Also I haven’t installed plugins for buddypress, if this is helpful information.
