change member status from spammer to normal

Hello, On WP I want to change the status of a member who has become spam. Indeed, there was not registered his address … How to return to normal status.
When I pass the change on the extended profile from spammer to more active it is refused.

Is it displaying an error message? How about if you try to unset this from the Users list instead of the extended profile page?

Hello,
Thank you for answering me. I tried on user and on the extended profile. nothing works. He is currently as an administrator and I can’t get him to change to buddy press as a subscriber. On the user profile he became a subscriber. It may be the role of the administrator that is the problem … Any solutions?

That partially explains your issue as you shouldn’t be able to mark an administrator as a spammer, you could take a backup of your database and change the user_status of the user from 1 to 0. I don’t know if other fields need to be changed and I’m no expert in this area so you do this at your own risk.

Huge. Problem solved. Indeed on went to the database and I changed the line from 1 to 0 then I changed it to 1 for administrator. it works at the top. Thank you, thank you very much. Simple and efficient. Have a good day.
