    Hi,

i’m having trouble changing meta descriptions on those kind of page : http://catalogue.design-by-jaler.com/membres/john/ and some others.

I have Yoast installed, but it seems that dont give me the capability.
Actually it give me a so weird text, that i cant share pages like that on social networks, so it’s kind of a problem…

    Regards.

WP SEO plugins won’t work on those kind of BuddyPress “page”, because they actually are not real “pages”, so everything gets confused.

I’ve not seen a BuddyPress-specific SEO plugin – I suspect some people don’t realise they aren’t handled by most SEO plugins – or have been built with custom code.

Try WordPress SEO plugin AND this hack:
    https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/1971#issuecomment-227008322

That will fix titles. There is no solution for meta descriptions, unfortunately.

I put it in my function.php but nothing new, just my website title.
