Changing blog page

    Hello i created a word press website and then installed buddy press, i am using BuddyPress Widget Theme , now my main page is a static page, and i am using a custom page to show blogs
    now can anyone tell me i will like to redesign the blogpages because on the blog page the whole blogs are displayed i want to display about 200 characters and a read more button
    can any one help ?

    Except instead of copying over and editing the site’s main index.php, make sure you find the right file for your theme (in bp-default, that’d be the index.php file in the blogs directory–probably the same for BP Widget Theme, but I haven’t looked at it).

    Actually, no, I think that’d be the file for MU blogs, probably. You’re still talking about the main site blog; it’s just not the website’s home page. Anyway, I still think that other thread will help you out.
