Changing registration page

    Hello,

I want to change registration page for buddpress a little. Now, below the Email field, I have the following text: “(We’ll send your password to this address, so triple-check it.)”. I want to replace it with email verification field, but I can’t find the file, where this form is generated. Can anyone help me with this?

    best regards,

    Michael

AFAIK it is the register.php file that resides in the registration folder in your theme

    Thanks,

unfortunately it didn’t work. I’m using buddymatic, and it has registration/signup.php, but when I change it, nothing happens, and it has no “…so triple-check it.” text.

    Anyone?

Could ask the theme authors. ;)

I believe it pulls in the default. Best place to add things to registration pages in MU is to write a plugin to hook into the filters in place on that page, rather than hack the core.

Yes, I know, hacking the core is completely wrong. Maybe you are right, I will check default registration page from buddymagic. I just thought that page is generated somewhere inside BP :) thanks!

Ok, I tried searching files for this phrase, and found it in language file (which is useless for me) and inside of bp-core-deprecated, when I change it, nothing changes…. and no other files with the following phrase exists :(

If you are a Windows user then you should befriend WinGrep –> http://www.wingrep.com/!

By the way, which software are you using to edit your language files… Poedit?
