Codeat Glossary plugin

Did anyone get the Codeat Glossary plugin to work within a Buddypress forum?
Codeat doesn’t give support for it but in their developer manual they do give an add filter code
add_filter( 'glossary_buddypress_support', '__return_true' );
for functions.php – however, that doesn’t change anything. Regular pages work fine.
Anyone?
