Commas in Profile Field

I’ve noticed that if a profile field is a text box and the user includes commas, it messes up the formatting of the field on the public profile. Does anyone know what to do about this? Also, the same thing happens when I use check boxes as a profile field. The first item will be displayed, then two lines later the rest are displayed. Has anyone had a similar issue?

@alaenadunn How do you mean? I’ve copy/pasted your sample text into the “about me” field on http://testbp.org/members/djpaul/profile/public/ and it looks ok?

Thanks for your reply! Yes – yours does look okay. I’m not sure what’s happening in my site. In the display box, anytime there’s a comma it separates out the first section like this:

I’m interested in reading

, cooking, and traveling.

Or this:

Reading

, Cooking, and Traveling

Do you think there’s something I can do about it?
