Create A Group Replaces Existing Group

I’m testing a new install of WordPress 3.8.3 with BuddyPress 1.9.2 and the default Twenty Fourteen theme. (I’ve tested with the MesoColumn theme as well.) I was able to create my first BuddyPress group just fine, but everytime I try to create a second group by clicking on the Create A Group button on the Groups page it replaces/updates the existing group rather than creating a new one.
How do I create a new group?
