Custom hooks help

Hi all,

I’m using buddypress along with a plugin called WP Favorite Posts (http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-favorite-posts/) and trying to write a custom hook so that when a user clicks favourite it gets added to their BP Activity Stream.

I’m getting nowhere though, has anyone tried this previously?
