Custom Tabs in Profile Navigation?

    Hi all! I’m new to buddypress and loving it. I’ve figured out how to add new items to the profile navigation through a custom menu, but they just link through to regular pages. What I’d really like is a custom tab on the profile navigation that loads the page content below, rather than redirecting to the page. The page would live under the cover photo and profile nav menu.

    I hope that makes sense! Let me know if any of you have ideas or know of any plugins that might allow this.

    You mean you want the new content to be inserted below the current content, rather than a page load?

    That’s it! I want to retain load the page under the profile navigation. Hope that makes sense.

    How are you with PHP and Javescript?

    You could overload that specific page (cause BP to load a copied version of the page) add the content you want within a hidden class, then get javascript to remove that class to reveal the content. Alternatively you could write the js to go and get the content then insert in into a page element.
