Deactivating BP registration with github snippets gives (too many redirects) err

Hello,

I have a website that used Point theme and worked fine when I replaced BP registration page with the WP page using the code snippets provided in github and I placed them in the mentioned bp-cutom.php file
but since I have asked somebody to create the website from scratch again with their own coding from scratch, everything worked fine tell I tried to add the code again as the old website, but an error saying (TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS) shows, I have tried to add the code in functions.php but nothing worked it out

can anybody help

Then you need to ask person why the snippets no longer work.

To stop the too many redirects error – remove the gist code show in the comment by unsalkorkmaz

I have asked the person to check out the snippets but he did not know what to do at all, that’s why I came to ask here about the problem …. anyway I tried to remove the code added by unsalkorkmaz, I don’t have the error page, but it opens the (register) page by BuddyPress and nothing appears inside it. So still no advance in the problem

I saw that there was a very similar problem on this link, but no final solution to it:

when I remove the second snippet I still end up with an empty page with /register ending URL

I have checked with who did my code and he backed up the website files and now the code does not cause any error
