Disable Display Name Publicly & Set Default Display name as Username

    Hi, I’v been looking around and have been unable to find any information for this.

    In the user profile page there is an option to display their name publicly as (whatever)
    and this is a problem for me because i people can have the same name and cause problems, and its hard to for people to find other members when there are multiple same names

    is there a way to set the persons default display name to their username, and NOT allow them to change how its shown to other members.

    or is there something im not thinking of i can try?
    on my website its mostly internet handles/nick names.. not so much real names
