On my buddypress site I don’t have the use for forums so I would like to remove the icon from the profile/group pages so it is not accessible. I have searched and searched the .php files to remove them but I cannot find what I am looking for. I’ve viewed the website in chrome and inspected elements and found the line of code that contains what I am looking for but on the backend of word press its not in any of the files. @mercime I have not. How do I do that and will that affect other elements of my site such as messaging and commenting on profiles pages and statuses?

@joshjackc Deactivate the bbPress forum plugin by going to admin menu Plugins > Installed and click on the “Deactivate” link. Messaging and Status/Actvitity Streams are BuddyPress components, not bbPress.
