Disable “Link Preview”

Hi there,

after update the plugin we have an issue with links preview.

Please how to disable the links preview on wall and on messages among users?

Everytime we post a link to our members buddypress opens a huge text box, like if it was the all article in wordpad text.

buddypress: Version 2.5.0 WP 4.4.2 Theme: Buddytheme

only to update you on this issue:

it only happens with links that are internal to our website, extrernal links do not generate the preview box.

Right. That’s WordPress 4.4’s embed feature https://codex.wordpress.org/Version_4.4

I think we added support for that to our activity stream in our last relese.
If you don’t want the feature at aall, https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-embeds/ might work.
