[Resolved] Display list of author’s articles
-
When using WordPress without Buddypress you can get a list of all the articles written by a user by visiting http://www.site.com/author/username.
However that no longer works after installing Buddypress. How can I restore this functionality?
Ideally, I’d like to create a tab within a user’s profile which appears if they are an author and lists their articles.
Failing that a separate standalone page that does the same as in WordPress would be acceptable.
It seems like this should be straightforward to do, but after looking through the forums I’m not sure where to start. Can anyone offer any help or a point in the right direction?

It works on our testbp.org site: http://testbp.org/author/johnjamesjacoby/
Feel like such a fool – I’d got a user name wrong which is why it wasn’t working. Sorry for wasting your time!
I’m just getting started with BuddyPress, and I was wondering about this myself. I realize that the default WP function to display a user’s articles still works, but I’d like to display them in a BuddyPress tab. I’m on the hunt for a plugin to accomplish this. Any guidance would be welcome!
I too would like to display author archives in a BuddyPress tab. This is something I have been looking for for a while now. It seems like something that should be a main feature of buddypress since so many people use it in conjunction with some sort of blog.
any solutions on this? is there a dynamic link/widget that will add a link to a member’s profile, so you can view the /author/member page?
I am also interested in this.
Guys, I am a newbie but I found this functionality in plugin “BP Posts on Profile” – https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-posts-on-profile/
It’s two years old, but it works.
FYI, it displays post links as per their WordPress loop presentation (ie. large headline and excerpt, per the BP Default theme) rather than with smaller text as though in the Activity stream.I tried this and it did not work.
