Display Name, User name and "tagging"

    @gingerling

    Hi, so one of the reasons I wanted to use buddyress was so people in the community can “give kudos” publicly. So say, A dev has made a good patch, another dev can say

    “Hey @kate, well done on that patch today”

    and everyone can see, even the documentation team who are often non on the same mailing lists or whatever.

    I am testing this system at the moment. The biggest problem I have is that display names and the @names are different. In this example

    http://imagebin.org/304905

    I want to give kudos to the user whos name displays as Rodrigo. I type @Rodrigo (no list comes up to suggest names, like on twitter) and I post my message but there is no link. Rodrigos profile has an additional name of @rata (his handle in general, not sure if is is his user-name or what) and only @rata makes the link.

    Not sure what to do about this. It doesn’t really seem functional :/
