Display the real name instead of username

Sorry about my bad english, it isn’t my native language…
I’d like to build a professional network. As you can Imadgine, it is not really serious to see username with things like Alligator33….I use the last version of wordpress and and BuddyPress. Since 2 days, I tried many solutions founded on the net but without result, and that’s become to make me crazy !
Do you have a definitive solution to fix it.
If not, wich way, other wordpress, could be the best way for creating professional a network
