Dont know how to get started

Please help. I’ve installed BuddyPress as well as the template pack, but I dont know how to get started. I have a very basic (and silly) question. What kind of wordpress page do I need to create to associate it with the respective BP pages? Do I need to design my own forum, registration page etc?

Hi muffythechef, I’m a firm believer in when you are starting out no question is silly so don’t worry at all. I’m going to give you a few links which hopefully help depending on what stage you are at of the setup:

I am a few days ahead of you OP. My BP site is http://DayZClans.com I am having a whole bunch of issues.

Best advice I can give is get the basic WP/BP going first, do not start adding a bunch of plugins. As you get a new plugin working, then go on to another one and make sure you back everything up. I already messed my whole site up but I had backed up a few hours before.
