Double message button

Hi everybody,
I recently updated WP to 3.8 and Twenty Eleven Theme to 1.7. I still have BP 1.8.1 since 1.9 is not available in italian yet. If I go to a member directory to send a message I can se friendship button doubled: I have

2 Private Message button
2 Public Message button
2 Cancel Friendship button

Why? I tried to update BP to 1.9 on a local server installation, but the problem is still there. Should I wait to the new 2.0 version?
Can you please help me?

I have found a new problem: if I send a message, it is sent twice! Please, help me.

Hi BuddyPress support,

I am having exactly the same problem. My website is http://plantswap.com.au – buddypress 1.9 with WordPress 3.8 install.

All Private Messages sent twice.

I am not using any other chat or PM plugins.

And what about this bug? Did you manage to fix it?
I still have double message button e each message is sent twice.
