Downgrade from 1.7 trunk to what? And how to do it?

Dear BuddyPress,

Thanks for the GREAT plugin. I installed it from Trunk on 2/12/2103.

I’ve been playing with it and have decided i need to downgrade because i am beginning to get some traffic on my site. So i have 4 questions:

1. To what version should i downgrade? 1.7Beta, 1.6.4?

2. I am pretty new to WordPress although I have been a software developer for a long time. How do i do a downgrade of this plugin?

3. Do I have to delete dependent plugins like buddypress-docs?

4. Are there database implications?

You added a trunk version to a live site? >.<

Why downgrade? Beta is out and it’s pretty solid.

In the future do testing locally http://serverpress.com

I take your point. 🙂

Just to be slightly defensive, the site was less “live” then than it is now. And I have been used to dealing with an app whose BDFL likes to make the most stable releases in trunk.

Anyway, thanks for the advice. I will upgrade to 1.7Beta.
