Drop-down menus in dashboard not working when Buddypress is enabled

I’ve noticed that “Screen Options” and “Help” haven’t been working in my dashboard for quite some time. Because of another issue, I had to disable BuddyPress. Lo and behold, the drop-down menus started working, as well as the “check all” box and rollovers that weren’t working before. Any ideas?

@invisibleland Can you start by looking in your web browser’s Javascript Console for any problems? See https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors — go to step 3.

Thanks, @djpaul. Still getting the WSoD when activating BP, so I can’t do this yet, but I will.
