dynamic link to buddypress profile

hi,
I am working on a project where I am using two themes for different purpose. My problem is I need a dynamic link or query keyword for the loggedin user in the non active theme. I’ve come across bp_loggedin_user_domain() function as it can generate a dynamic link for logged-in user but can’t find how to create a link by using this function in function.php. I have nominal knowledge so pardon if I am wrong somewhere. I need to put the dynamic link or query in the multiple theme plugin and that will do my work. please help as I am clueless.
