Email notifications when new post in activity stream

I would like my users to receive an email whenever there is a new post in the activity stream, is that possible? any plugin that does that?

I’ve checked settings->notifications, but the options I see there are for mentions and for replies to one of your comments.

This also is a problem for me as well. My client has no way of knowing when new questions are posted and does not have the ability to send emails to the entire group, please advise. Thanks

Resurrecting a 1.4 year old post is not usually the best way to go about it. Please create a new thread and explain how you’d want this feature to work.
