Email optional in signup page

Hie i am using KLEO theme, in which i have to manually register 700-800 members. The problem is those 700 members don’t have their email address so i have to create those to.

How can i make the email field optional so that i can speedup my work, as i don’t neccessarily want the email id of those users.

This won’t be easily done. If you take a look in bp_core_screen_signup(), you’ll see it expects the user’s email to be provided. If no email is given, then an error will be reported.
