empty profile for logged in user

    After upgrade to 1.6.1 looking at other members profiles are as before.
    Only for the logged in user on all ‘my account’ (public profile, edit profile, blog, activity, friends, messages and settings) pages, the page unexpectedly ends with:
    <div id=”item-nav”>
    <div class=”item-list-tabs no-ajax” id=”object-nav” role=”navigation”>
    <ul>
    .
    Switching to the default buddypress theme and turning off all plugins except buddypress makes no difference.

    Because the item-nav div is written in so many files I would not know where to search for the problem.
    Suggestions appreciated…

    Upload the whole bp-default theme manually via FTP.
    If it’s OK with the default thme, do the same with the original files of your custom theme.

    Control also that you have a page for each bp page.
    After updating to 1.6.1, my pages where all lost and i have to recreate them…

    I uploaded both buddypress and my custom theme via FTP
    and checked if all my BP pages were still there and correctly coupled (and they were)
    but unfortunately this didn’t help; still no content on all ‘my account’ pages :-(
    Any other suggestions?
