Error in bp-core-directory-members.php in r473

  • Simon

I’ve just updated to trunck version r473 (from trac download) and I’m get the following error on all pages, both front-end and admin…

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘}’ in C:wampwwwwp-contentmu-pluginsbp-coredirectoriesbp-core-directory-members.php on line 95

Any idea why this might be happening? I’m running WordPress MU 2.6.3 under Apache 2.2.8 on Windows Vista (dev setup only)… everything else on MU is fine until I update the BuddyPress plugins to this latest trunk build (previously running tagged versions of BP from 26th October with no problems).

I’d appreciate any light anybody can shed on this and how I can address it.

After some investigation this appears to simply be related to the opening php tag. Perhaps windows doesn’t like not having the full “<?php” (it was just the short tag version: “<?”>.

Changing to the full tag corrected the error.

    Fixed, thanks.
