    is all that displays i created 1 group and it sais there is 1 group however it wont show any groups it just sais

    and thats it. it iis fully updated and same goes for wp, its all up to date!

    It is almost certainly due to your Hotsteel theme. To confirm, switch momentarily to a WP theme like 2020. If the issue does not persist, then you need to contact Hotsteel re ajax errors.

    You could also try removing the twitter widget.

    Ok now it works with 2020 like you said, but why dnt it work on all themes? like hotsteel theme? why cant you make it work??

    I Know this is old (but probably not by BuddyPress standards!) but this is actually an API issue: the WP heartbeat API has to be switched on for the frontend.

    My host is Sitegrounnd and they dish out their own optimising plugin which has been responsible for a couple of things not working actually, this is one of them.

    Under the environment tab is the heartbeat setting. It was switched off by default for the frontend for site performance reasons.

    Find that setting!

    Hello,
    The issue is most likely caused by the Hotsteel theme. To confirm this, temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme such as 2020. If the problem doesn’t persist with the default theme, you should reach out to Hotsteel for assistance with resolving the ajax errors.
