Exclue certain pages from the menu?

    Hello everyone,

    I’m wondering if it’s possible to exclude certain pages from the menu. This is the code that’s being used for my menu (from the default theme):

    ^ I notice the exclude part and I imagine that’s what I need to edit. I’m going not sure on the structure.

    Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Jack

    Easier with this plugin. https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/exclude-pages/

    In a future version of BP it will use WP menus.

    As modemlooper says the plugin route will be easier for you but to answer the question the parameter you refer to takes a page id (found if you hover a page title in backend lists) you can set a series of id’s comma separated e.g

    exclude=1,2,3,’

    the parameter can also be change to one of ‘include’ which is more practical if you have a specific page in mind and not likely to want any others or where you create many pages but don’t want them all to appear automagically – using ‘exclude’ means that pages are added as they are created and if not wanted you would have to go in each time and add the page to the exclude list.

    Thanks very much. I decided to go with the plugin because it allows my users to also exclude pages. wow!
