Extended Login Widget

    Dear “Buddies”,

I’ve been looking for a way to extract the menu that you get from the buddy/admin bar so as to use it as a sidebar widget. I have used the “(Buddy Press) Log in”, but after you log in, it doesn’t show the other options that you get with buddy bar, i.e. activity, profile, …, settings with the nice submenus.

I did try trawling the php code and have made some progress:
When you edit buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-widgets.php, you can simply add code to the area after the is_user_logged_in() code block. You can see some results at vibral.co.za – see the left sidepanel, where after logging in, you get membership and group info, which you normally don’t get from this widget.

So what I’m really looking for is the code to get the buddybar flyout submenus in this widget. Where is the code for that stored please?

    Thanks in advance
