External Links In Profile Field Descriptions?

    Hi — just set up a BuddyPress site with global bbPress forums (Latest WP, BuddyPress 1.6.1, bbPress 2.1.2).

    I notice that when I add `target=”_blank”` to a URL in the Profile Field field description, it’s stripped out. However, the `title=” “` tag is not.

    How can I override this? I need my registering users to be able to read the terms of use in a different browser tab before they register.

    I want to add an “Agree to Terms” checkbox, so thought I could put a link in the field description with a target=”_blank”, however, as already indicated, the target is removed. I have searched through all BP files and cannot find where in the BP core files this character strip is happening.

    Anyone got any ideas?
