Facebook Connect formatting problem in 1.2 beta

I realize this isn’t core BP functionality, but it’s certainly one of the most used and most helpful plugins out there, so I wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts on how to solve an issue I’m having with FB connect and the activity stream.

Basically, instead of showing a standard 50×50 avatar in the activity stream when a FB member does something, it’s displaying an image that’s 200×126. This is being determined by the connect-css file that, I presume, Facebook sends as part of Connect. It would be easy enough to fix this if I controlled it, but it’s a little outside my knowledge base as it stands.

There have been some other wonky FB Connect issues with 1.2 — namely a situation where the logout doesn’t work. You have to log out of FB itself, then log out of the BP site to make it actually log out. Avatars can also seem to be a little weird, but nothing solid enough that I think is worth worrying over yet.

I’ve marked this as not a support issue as it is to do with a third-party plugin and customisation thereof.

@lautering: how did you make the fbconnect working with the new BP 1.2 Default theme?

By default, contrary to the Classic theme, the f-Connect button isn’t displayed in new Default’s login form in the sidebar?

    Thanks & regards
