The main initial need to promote a social network is the invitation system . but Buddypress lacks an inbuilt invitation system …. there are invitation plugins , but they are not up to the mark .
An invitation system (inbuilt of plugin) in todays social network market with features to invite friends from mail services like gmail, yahoo, etc. and also a feature to invite friends from facebook and orkut , would be a great addition and also this features would be a great instrument to promote a buddypress based social network.
