Features of BuddyPress

    Hi,

    I looked around, but cannot find an answer to these:

    1. Will I be able to setup different membership levels? i.e. Free, Silver, Gold. etc.
    2. Will I be able to integrate with a payment gateway? PayPal would be ideal.

    Yes, it’s possible. But it would require custom development.

    You might want to look into s2member. That’s one option, but there are probably a few others as well.

    Thank you for your reply ray!

    I’m actually currently using a paid one called WP eMember, but as I’m interested in adding a rewards system as well I thought I might switch to Buddypress in order to use the plugins that integrate with it.

    You’ll definitely want to test against WP eMember. (You should do this on a local install and not your production site!)

    BuddyPress has its own registration page that might not gel with WP eMember. Might need to build a companion plugin that integrates properly.

    Unfortunately, there’s not a default integration and that makes things even more complicated as they’ll all of them have to work together!
