Dear BuddyPress Team,
I worked with a lot of social components over the past years. Drupal Commons (very flexible, but you need to handle all sorts of additional extensions that need updates), Jomsocial (even helped with a lot of BETA testing and recommended to make all strings ready for translation)…
I just switched from Joomla to WordPress for building regular sites. Drupal 8 will be for more complex sites, with Joomla there are just too many bad plugin developers who charge money and offer poor quality. I have to say I love the way BuddyPress and bbPress is coming along with WordPress. Most important to me is that BuddyPress offers what is needed with very intuitive handling, nice theming and bbPress inclusion.
Keep up the good work…I will try to participate as soon as I dig deeper into the core…
