    How to download:
    http://theme.firmasite.com
    The theme has been approved by the WP Theme Review Team and will soon be available for download at the WordPress Theme Repository.

    FirmaSite Theme Enhancer: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/firmasite-theme-enhancer/

    Theme Features:

    • Its GPL and free 🙂
    • Based on Twitter Bootstrap  and all wordpress, buddypress and bbpress files using only bootstrap css. That means you can use custom bootstrap styles and all of your site will use same theme style. There is already 13 custom bootstrap theme is included in theme from Bootswatch. In future, i will explain how you can add custom bootstrap styles
    • Using Bootstrap Responsive so all your site will be mobile ready. BuddyPress and bbPRess too!
    • Using Theme Customization API for theme options. It means you can see changes on live edit and you can easily extend options with wordpress functions directly. A video on action: http://youtu.be/F95TngS9er8  (Its a bit old version of theme but a good example for main theme options)
    • Google Fonts! lots of! You can choose google fonts from theme options ( watch example video from above)

ShowCase letting you show your special post in home page header like: http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/examples/carousel.html and PromotionBar is letting you promote your posts in content header, footer or sidebar. You just marking your posts from your post panel. Both feature is using Bootstrap’s carousel component so there is no extra  javascript. An example post panel screenshot:

    • Supporting Post Formats! Formats have special template parts with get_template_part  and video,audio formats calling necessary js that need to play video or audios. System supporting oEmbed links too.
    • Ready for translation. Theme’s default language is English and Turkish translation is included. ( You can send me your translations if you have). You can use Codestyling Localization for translating theme.
    • I will add lots of filter and action (already have lots of) so you can use it as starter theme for your projects. I will explain how you can keep your customization while keeping theme up-to-date.

    @unsalkorkmaz thanks for submitting your theme to the WP theme repo 🙂

    @mercime well.. wp theme repo admins are interesting. I dont think i can get approved anytime soon. Check this: https://themes.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/11449

    TinyMCE buttons are Plugin territory. Bam.. close theme as not approved. Now wait 1 more month. 1 month later:  “XXX is plugin territory.” bam.. 1 more month again.. Where is full review?  How can i be sure if they dont do that like 7-8 times more?

    @ljvd

    even if … your concept is pretty good …
    or perhaps should you join an existing project
    working alone on a theme is always a stressful challenge …

    Naa.. Themes are easy. Esspecially with theme customizer feature. Main problem is wp repo rules [EDITED ~~~ by Mercime. No personal attacks are allowed on this site]. If you have time, you can read this discussion: https://lists.wordpress.org/pipermail/theme-reviewers/2013-March/012167.html I can simplify the problem in that discussion:  In FirmaSite 1.1.0 version, i added 2 custom tinymce button that makes easy to use special css classes. For example you can convert a link to bootstrap button with just 1 click. You can change a button’s color or size with just 1 click. You dont need to write css classes in tinymce for making your content more useful or better readability. What this tinymce plugin doing is actually simple. For example it adds “btn btn-primary” classes to <a> tag  to make it a good looking button. They closed my theme because of it. What did i do? Made user’s content creation easy…

    Btw an example of theme usage: http://resimlitarif.com/ This is a turkish food recipe website that my mom is writing 🙂 Just 1-2 little custom css code for header and custom background..

    It isn’t a people issue … it’s a key point to accept this dev. strategy. WordPress is a large framework, you have to accept the rules …
    The current wp editor will be just a plugin too, that will be better, but that’s an other point 😉

    @ljvd

    Participant

    The same addon for the editor should be offered by a plugin, activated from the theme, but not included in it. It’s all the wp strategy. one other way is to test the presence of the addon plugin, and to activate the function if available … but some other places are probably better for discussing wp development ….
    On the other hand, that was pretty unfair to refuse your theme submission without waiting the modification …

    I agree it can be a plugin feature. But why not theme feature too? Basically plugin dont know if bootstrap style is loaded or not? I will write a plugin to add more features to this FirmaSite theme, like those custom tinymce buttons etc. Main problem is i know firmasite theme is loading bootstrap but i dont know other themes are loading or not. Lets say i load bootstrap for other themes in this plugin, it will ruin theme probably. It shouldnt be a plugin because this feature all demands on what style is loading..

    I understand your concern;
    Your mother is a pretty amazing cooking star with her 700 fans ! Great blog in fact.
    Let her organize the diner for a local wp dev meeting, you will gain a massive assistance ,-)

    @unsalkorkmaz please note that I have edited one of your posts above. No personal remarks/attacks are allowed in this forum.

    I appreciate that you want to give users as many features as possible with your theme and I understand your frustration. Having said that, the WP Theme Review Team Admin already noted which he considered plugin territory starting here https://lists.wordpress.org/pipermail/theme-reviewers/2013-March/012183.html and more so for the TinyMCE buttons later on the thread.

    I supported you in the Author URL in the same thread. While I don’t agree with the TRT Admins 100% of the time, I support them 100% in the above-mentioned plugin-territory discussion. My unsolicited suggestion is to remove the items listed above which are considered plugin territory from your theme and create a plugin specifically for the theme e.g. Firmalite Theme Booster or Firmalite Add-ons or whatever you want. Further suggest submitting a revised theme while your theme is still up in the review queue.

    Firmalite is the 13th in theme review queue as I write this. We’ve cleared many of the backlogs the past week and there are reviewers doing some reviews this week. Know that all of the reviewers are volunteers and also know that way sometime ago the waiting time for a review was 3-4 months.

    Thank you for your patience.

    nice work thanks for sharing! wondering have you tested this in a network environment?

    @unsalkorkmaz

    Participant

    if you mean WordPress Multisite with “network environment”; My all sites are built on multisite. For example main site is:  http://yerleske.net/  and http://unsalkorkmaz.com/ is one of sub-domain.

    If you mean BuddPress examples;

    My buddypress profiles:
    http://yerleske.net/uyeler/unsalkorkmaz/
    http://kremim.com/uye/listesi/ajx/

    bbPress forum example:
    http://kremim.com/forum/soru-cevap/

    @ubernaut

    Participant

    well buddypress has an additional page and some additional features for multisite networks that’s what i was referring to.

    @unsalkorkmaz

    Participant

    I can give you more example if i can understand which sections you want to see. Only additional features for multisite networks i remember now is blogs list in buddypress.

    Example multisite blogs list:
    http://yerleske.net/siteler/

    You can watch a live-demo that  i am showing theme options:

    or from in front of:
    http://theme.firmasite.com/

    @ubernaut

    Participant

    yeah that’s what i was referring to also i think the site activity looks a bit different in networks sort of tough for me to navigate your site since it’s not in english but i’ll check out the video later thanks again for sharing!

    @unsalkorkmaz

    Participant

    Sorry for non-english examples. Basically i dont have english network yet ^^
    Should i create a community in http://theme.firmasite.com/ ? Its a network itself so i can install buddypress and open registration etc. I couldnt decide on this actually but i generally hate registering to lots of site for able to get support. If i dont change my mind, i am thinking to give support on wordpress.org’s forums because everyone have account in there.

    What do you guys think about registering a site for getting support?

    @ubernaut

    Participant

    i typically like those.

    @unsalkorkmaz

    And theme got approved 🙂

    That means theme code is checked by theme reviewers and its trustworthy. You can download from WordPress.Org soon. Meanwhile  you can explore theme or download from http://theme.firmasite.com/
