Foolishly deleted pages

    Hi There

    I run TheGamingScot.com (which is currently offline due to a re-design) my site is going to incorporate BuddyPress for the first time, so I imported data from another location to get an insight as to what BuddyPress will look like on my site – so once I was happy with it, I deleted the pages to try & create new ones so the data was gone.

    The new pages I created are just blank pages (which makes sense now lol) – so how do I get the original pages back?

    I tried a full reinstall of the plugin , deleted the tables in PhpMyAdmin to do a fresh install yet it still comes up with the “repair” button to get the pages back.

    help urgently needed lol.

    EDIT: Fixed the pages problem ,however now my pages are silly, i have “register-3” “activity-6” , the previous pages were deleted, however i can’t seem to fix the permalinks

    BP at this moment requires pages created to serve as place holders for the major components, these pages are simply blank pages with just a title. If you have deleted them then you must re-create them, the same process as creating a WP page, once created you navigate back to BP settings and you can now find these new pages in the drop downs next to each component name, select the page you wish to represent the BP component and save.

    well you didn’t delete them deleting doesn’t delete it puts the items in the trash but preserves their slugs/ID’s so if you create a new page with same name it has to be appended with a number to identify it. Either go through your trash and delete all items and start over or re-instate the original pages.

    Without creating a new thread

    I’m having trouble with the Forums

    I have Site Wide forums , i have a forum called “Introductions” & a topic called “Introduce Yourself”

    It doesn’t show up in thegamingscot.com/forums
