Noob question, sorry:

I just installed Buddypress. It looks awesome. One of the items it offered was to include my current forum. Being a noob, I was unable to figure out the proper site location. I tried /hermes/web01/b2684/moo.xxxxx/smf, but it did not find it there. MySQL database is at xxxxx_IC_20100615_0xxxx. The forum’s URL is aztechnet.com/smf. I am really frustrated with my current forum. After I upgraded from SMF 1.1.11 to SMF RC 2.0.3, I’ve had nothing but problems. Now, I can’t even post new threads. Thanks.

BuddyPress supports forums via the bbPress forum script. It does not offer native SMF import support.

You might be speaking of the BuddyPress SMF Import plugin:

If you haven’t tried it already, give it a shot.
