Okay, so I kept having issues with my new wordpress/buddypress install at http://www.scifispace.com/blog/ so this am I:

1. Deleted buddypress & bbforums completely
2. Reinstalled both and activated them using one of the buddypress compatible themes for testing

Everything worked but forums – the forum tab was not showing at all. Trying to install site wide forums thru buddypress told me it was installed, but nothing came up and no tab added, etc. Using existing forums worked and added the forums tab, but…

The tab doesn’t go to the right page. Forum tries to go to http://www.scifispace.com/blog/forums/ but in bpforums, I got a warning that forums might cause a conflict with buddypress so I changed it to scifispace-forums. If you go to http://www.scifispace.com/blog/scifispace-forums/ they are there and working, but nothing I can do will get the tab to go to it. Scifispace-forums isn’t showing in buddypress > pages so I can assign it. I tried to change the path on the forums page to http://www.scifispace.com/blog/scifispace-forums/ and still doesn’t work

Trying to make sure buddypress is working before I try to redo the theme the way I want it.
